Online booking that catches the jobs you'd otherwise miss
It's 7:40 on a Tuesday. You're on your back under a kitchen sink with a basin wrench in your hand and your phone face-down in the truck. Across town a disposal just quit and the homeowner is standing in her kitchen with her phone out. She calls you. It rings out. She calls the next name on the list. By the time you're washing up in the driveway, that job belongs to somebody else.
JobField gives your shop a booking page at my.jobfield.app/book/your-shop. Link it from your site or embed it right in the page. The homeowner picks the service, picks a time window, types what's wrong, and sends. It lands in your Bookings inbox with her name, phone, address, the window she wants and her own description of the fault — and one tap turns it into a job on the board. The page is working at 7:40pm whether you are or not. It's included in every plan, and the first 14 days are free with no credit card.

What the homeowner actually fills out
No account to create, no password, nothing to download. She picks the service — the list is yours, the same work you actually run — then a day and a time window, then a box where she describes the problem in her own words. Name, phone, address. Send. That last box is the one that earns its keep. "Whirlpool side-by-side, freezer frozen solid, water on the floor since Sunday" tells you what to put on the truck and roughly how long you'll be there. A voicemail that says "call me about my fridge" tells you nothing.
- Service, preferred time window, and the customer's own description of the fault
- Name, phone and service address captured before you spend a minute on it
- No login for the homeowner — she fills out one short form and she's done
What happens after a request lands
It goes to your Bookings inbox — not voicemail, not a stray email thread you find on Thursday. You open it, read what she wrote, and look at the address against where your trucks already are tomorrow. If you want the job, one tap converts the request: the customer record is created with her history started, the job carries her description, and it drops onto the drag-and-drop board where you assign the tech and the window that make sense. From there it's an ordinary job — it shows on the dispatch map, takes an estimate, takes an invoice, takes Tap to Pay at the door.
- One tap turns a request into a scheduled job with the customer already created
- The job lands on the schedule board and the live dispatch map like any other
- Nothing is auto-accepted — you read it and decide before it touches the schedule
Requests, not open calendar slots
Some booking tools hand a stranger your live availability. That's how you end up with a 7:30am confirmed on one side of the county and a 9am confirmed on the other, both promised, neither one movable. This page collects a preferred window, not a locked appointment. You see the address, the fault and the window together, then you confirm. Homeowners already understand this — "we'll call you to confirm" is how the trade works. What they won't sit through is a form that goes nowhere for two days. Answer the same evening and you've beaten the shop that let it ring.
- Customers request a window; you confirm it or you don't
- Nobody drops themselves onto your board at 7:30am forty miles out
- You see the address and the description before you commit a truck
One link you can put everywhere
The page lives at a permanent URL: my.jobfield.app/book/your-shop. Put it behind the Book Online button on your website, or embed it so the customer never leaves your page. Drop it in your Google listing, your email signature, the magnet you leave on the fridge, the sticker in the truck window. The page carries your shop name and a link back to your site, so it does a little selling on its own — someone who lands there from a neighborhood Facebook post can see who you are before sending anything. The URL doesn't change when you hire or move.
- One permanent URL — my.jobfield.app/book/your-shop
- Link it or embed it on your own site, whichever you prefer
- Carries your name and a link back to your site, so it works as a small landing page
You're not paying extra to take work
Booking isn't an add-on here. Every plan is flat per company — Starter $49, Pro $149, Platform $299 a month — and the number is the same whether you run one truck or nine. That's the split with Workiz, Housecall Pro, Jobber and ServiceTitan: their bill climbs every time you hire, and they resell you texts and card processing with a margin baked in. JobField is bring-your-own-keys. You connect your own Twilio and Stripe accounts and pay those companies directly at their rates, with nothing added on top.
- Flat per company: $49, $149 or $299 a month — never per technician
- Bring your own Twilio and Stripe keys and pay those providers at cost
- 14-day free trial, no credit card
Frequently asked questions.
Does the booking page give customers my live calendar?
No, and that's deliberate. The homeowner picks a preferred window and sends a request. Nothing goes on your schedule until you convert it. You get to see the address and the problem first, then decide whether it fits the day you already have planned. Live slots sound modern right up until two strangers book opposite ends of the county an hour apart.
What do I actually get when a request comes in?
Name, phone, service address, the service they selected, the time window they'd like, and their own written description of what's wrong. That's enough to know whether it's worth the drive, what to load on the truck, and who to send. Everything carries over into the job when you accept it, so nobody retypes the address.
I already have a website. Can I still use this?
Yes — that's the normal setup. Point your existing Book Online button at my.jobfield.app/book/your-shop, or embed the page so the customer stays on your site the whole time. You don't rebuild anything and you don't move hosts. If you don't have a site yet, the booking page works fine on its own as the link you hand out.
What if someone requests work outside my service area?
You see the full address before you accept anything, so an out-of-area request costs you a phone call and nothing else. Call and tell them straight, or pass it to a shop you trade referrals with. Because nothing is auto-confirmed, a bad request never lands on your board or gets promised to anyone.
Does online booking cost extra per request?
No. The booking page is included in Starter, Pro and Platform at no additional charge, and there's no per-request or per-booking fee. Pricing is flat per company — $49, $149 or $299 a month — so taking more work online never raises the bill. You can run the whole thing for 14 days free without a credit card.
